480 g Oats, quick cooking

1.419 mL Water

47 g Margarine

70 g Brown Sugar

8 g Cinnamon
Method
- Open the can of Dole Pear Slices in Fruit Juice and drain, reserving the juice. Dice pear slices into 1” cubes or smaller, set aside.
- Prepare oats on a stovetop by bringing the juice and water to a boil and adding the quick cooking oats, reduce to a simmer and cook stirring constantly for 1 minute. Remove from heat, cover and let stand for 2-3 minutes, preferably in a hot holding cabinet 60°C/140°F until ready to serve.
- Melt margarine in a skillet and add brown sugar and cinnamon. Add the diced Dole Pear Slices in Juice to the mixture and sauté for approximately 2 minutes or until slightly caramelized.
- Portion oats into serving containers and top with pear mixture, serve.
