Pear, Sausage & Butternut Squash Sheet Roast

This hearty dish features savory sausage and caramelized butternut squash alongside tender pears, creating an unexpected yet flavorful combination.

You will need

  • 900 g Turkey Sausage
  • 900 g Butternut Squash
  • 340 g Red Onion
  • 340 g Red Bell Pepper
  • 21 g Black Pepper
  • 21 g Salt
  • 21 g Basil
  • 21 g Oregano
  • 56 mL Cooking Oil

Method

  1. Open can(s) of Dole Pear Slices in Fruit Juice, drain and dice into 1” pieces.
  2. Preheat convection oven to 200°C/400°F.
  3. Combine frozen ground turkey sausage, diced butternut squash, diced Dole Pear in Fruit Juice, diced red onion, diced peppers, black pepper, salt, dried basil, dried oregano and cooking oil in a large bowl.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly on parchment lined baking sheets and bake in a 200°C/400°F oven and cook until the turkey sausage is at an internal temperature of 74°C/165°F and vegetables are tender, approximately 25 minutes.
