Warm Oatmeal with Spiced Pears is a protein-packed breakfast option. Creamy oatmeal is topped with pears infused with warming spices, creating a delicious and satisfying way to fuel mornings.

  1. Open the can of Dole Pear Slices in Fruit Juice and drain, reserving the juice. Dice pear slices into 1” cubes or smaller, set aside.
  2. Prepare oats on a stovetop by bringing the juice and water to a boil and adding the quick cooking oats, reduce to a simmer and cook stirring constantly for 1 minute. Remove from heat, cover and let stand for 2-3 minutes, preferably in a hot holding cabinet 60°C/140°F until ready to serve.
  3. Melt margarine in a skillet and add brown sugar and cinnamon. Add the diced Dole Pear Slices in Juice to the mixture and sauté for approximately 2 minutes or until slightly caramelized.
  4. Portion oats into serving containers and top with pear mixture, serve.
