Spiced Apple & Oat Pancakes

These delicious pancakes combine the goodness of oats with the warm flavors of fall spices and juicy apples. They're a healthy and satisfying way to fuel your mornings.

Wash hands before beginning preparation and sanitize surfaces/equipment.

  1. Preheat griddle to 375°F/190°C
  2. Open the can of Dole Apple Slices in Water, drain and reserve water. Dice apples into ½” pieces and place into a bowl.
  3. Add the ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg and ground cloves and stir
    to coat fruit. Set aside.
  4. Combine the complete pancake mix and oats in a separate bowl. Add reserved water and mix until just combined. Add the diced apple and stir to combine.
  5. Oil griddle and portion 2oz of pancake batter per pancake. Cook for approximately 2 minutes or until golden edges are formed, flip and cook for an additional 1 minute, or until firm.

CPP: Maintain>140°F/60°C for a maximum of 4 hours. Temperatures should be taken every 2 hours during holding.

CPP: COOL: Product must reach 140°F/60°C to 70°F/21°C within 2 hours and 70°F/21°C to 40°F/4°C within 4 hours.

CPP-REHEAT: To an internal temperature of 165°/74°C within 2 hours held for at least 15 seconds, one time only.

NOTE: Refer to local or regional public health regulations for any hot holding time limits.

Garnish/Plating Suggestions: Serve with warm syrup and/or whipped cream
