Pear & Vanilla Oat Bake

This protein-packed and fiber-rich oat bake combines the goodness of rolled oats with the creamy sweetness of vanilla and fresh pears.

  • 170 g Margarine
  • 280 mL Liquid Eggs
  • 246 mL Maple Syrup
  • 1163 mL 2% Milk
  • 41 mL Vanilla Extract
  • 583 g Oats
  • 15 g Cinnamon
  • 14 g Baking Powder
  • 18 g Salt

Méthode

  1. Open can of Dole Pear Slices in Juice. Drain and discard liquid. Puree pears and set aside.
  2. Melt the margarine over medium low heat.
  3. Preheat convection oven to 176°C/350°F.
  4. Whisk together the pear puree, melted margarine, eggs, maple syrup, milk and vanilla in a large bowl.
  5. Mix the oats, cinnamon, baking powder and salt together in a separate bowl.
  6. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir to thoroughly combine.
  7. Divide mixture into 2 greased G/N 1/1 pans. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes until firm and internal temperature has reached 165°F/74°C
